SCHOLARSHIPS
CoTA FACULTY/STAFF SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Who: All CoTA staff or faculty taking classes.
What: The CoTA Faculty/Staff Scholarship fund provides support for books and supplies for degree-seeking coursework at USF. This funding is made available through the Faculty/Staff Campaign and is contingent on available funding. As tuition is covered by the Tuition Assistance Program, scholarship funds help cover additional costs such as books, materials, fees, credit hours over and above the 6 hours covered by Tuition Assistance Program as well as tuition for unsupported classes such as Thesis and Research.
How: Self nomination to Unit Director and immediate supervisor. Provide your Unit Director and Supervisor a written request including course title, course number, and degree program. The Unit Director must then submit a brief support letter to the Associate Dean by the posted deadline.
Deadline: For Fall 2009 it is requested that applications and support letters be received by TBA to your supervisor.
Quiet Quality Award
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR JULY 2009 RECIPIENT, DEB DENNISON and OCTOBER 2009 RECIPIENT, MIREYA CRITEL!!!
Please submit nominations for the 2009-2010 fiscal year!
Who: All USPS staff who have at least 6 months of continuous service to the university. Employees can receive this award only once every three years.
What: The Quiet Quality Award includes a certificate, mug, photo recognition, as well as an invitation to the annual awards reception. In addition to the University acknowledgment, the College of The Arts will also award a $100 salary bonus to up to 5 recipients per fiscal year. This award helps to increase staff recognition at the university.
How: Anyone may nominate an eligible staff member. For more information please visit the USF Human Resources website.
Deadline: Nominations must be received on the 15th of the month to be reviewed for the following month's awards.
