ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE OF THE ARTS
- All students must meet University admission requirements.
- Admission is open in Theatre and Art History.
- Auditions are required for admission to Dance and Music.
- Portfolio review is required in Studio Art and Architecture.
- Students must complete the necessary forms in the Advising Office in order to be on file as majors.
School of Architecture Admission
Admission to the Architecture program is only by portfolio review. For portfolio requirements click here.
School of Art and Art History Admission
Admission to the Art History program is open admission. Admission to the Art Studio program is only by portfolio review. For portfolio requirements click here.
School of Music Admission
Admission to Music is contingent upon acceptance by the University and successful completion of a performance audition. Applications must be filed with the Coordinator of Music Admissions prior to the scheduled auditions in February, April, and December.
School of Theatre and Dance Admission
Theatre has an open admission program. Prior to their junior year and after completion of the lower-level core requirements, students wishing to concentrate in performance or design must audition or have a portfolio review for acceptance into the upper-division concentration courses.
Admission to Dance is contingent upon acceptance by the University and successful completion of a performance audition.
Fine Arts Activity Cards
These cards are provided to College of The Arts majors for attendance at the College's events for free or at a discounted rate. They are issued by the College Advising Office after the Drop/Add week. |
