Scholarship Information

Note: Some CoTA scholarships require a thank you letter in advance of processing funds and/or attendance at scholarship events to meet donors.


SIEDE Student Fund

The applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • The Siede Student Fund Endowment Grant for Exceptional Students is open to all students. Strong consideration is given to exceptionally talented applicants who are traditionally underrepresented in any of the disciplines in the College of The Arts.
  • Special consideration will be given to first year or first generation students.
  • The applicant must apply and be accepted for admission to the University of South Florida and must be a major in the College of The Arts, preferably a freshman.
  • The applicant must be recommended for the scholarship by the School and receive matching funds from the School in which the student is to major.

Diversity Enhancement Award

The applicant must:

  • have ethnic minority status as defined by federal EEOC guidelines
  • have applied and been accepted to the University of South Florida
  • be a major in the College of The Arts
  • be recommended for the scholarship by the department or school in which the student is to major
