The National Endowment for the Humanities invites nominations of faculty to receive Summer Stipends. Universities may submit no more than two nominations; at USF, the Humanities Institute screens applications and determines which two will move forward as USF nominees. Historically, the Summer Stipend provides $6,000 for two consecutive months of full-time research and writing. This opportunity is open to all full-time, USF Tampa faculty, including Instructors. Applications should be emailed as a single document to the Humanities Institute Director and Assistant Director typically by the end of July and the selected nominees are notified no later than Sept. 1. The two nominated applications must then be uploaded on the NEH website by September 30, 2014. Full details of the program can be accessed through this link.
